Your dog may be stubborn, but that doesn't mean he can't be kept safe and secure. To help manage your strong-willed pet, this in-ground radio fence system comes equipped with five adjustable levels of correction, including a tone only plus vibration mode. The adjustable collar is especially designed for hard-to-train dogs of every size.

How it Works:
The PetSafe Stubborn Dog In-Ground Radio Fence System has been proven safe, comfortable, and effective for all pets over 20 lbs. A small percentage of dogs require this receiver. Because of its size, this receiver should normally be used on dogs that are over 20 pounds. While dogs under 20 pounds can easily wear this receiver, keep in mind it will look quite bulky on them. The system works by producing a radio signal from the Fence Transmitter through up to 2800 feet of Boundary Wire. The Boundary Wire is buried or attached to a fixed object to enclose the Pet Area. You temporarily define this Pet Area with Boundary Flags for a visual aid in training your pet. Your dog wears a Receiver Collar with Contact Points that touch his neck, and, once trained, is allowed to roam freely in the Pet Area. When your pet reaches the Warning Zone, the Receiver Collar gives a warning beep and vibrates. If your pet continues into the Static Correction Zone, a safe Static Correction will be delivered through the Contact Points to get his attention until he returns to the Pet Area.
