This high performance antenna attaches to the dog's collar and will provide
a better signal and range when in the field as compared to the standard antenna.
The DC-20 unit hangs under the
dog's
neck and the antenna runs with the collar up to the top of the dog's neck.
There is no need for an e-collar or beeper collar to counterweight the DC-20.

- Can give you up to 100% better signal and range compared to the Garmin
standard and low profile antennas in rough terrain with lots of trees, hills
and valleys.
- As an example: With the standard antenna in the woods it was measured
to get about 1.74 miles of signal range. When using the collar
antenna in the exact same area, 3.1 miles of signal range was measured.
When using
the harness antenna 2.98 miles of signal range was measured. About
4.35 miles of signal range was measured when using
the collar
antenna or harness antenna together with the Garmin magmount antenna
on the Astro receiver.

- Special bracket included that will keep the DC-20 angled up to the satellite meaning the antenna can be used for all types of dogs, even the ones that track with their nose to the ground all the time.
- Optional collar is constructed of Biothane (a urethane coated nylon) and
is orange in color. If the collar is too long, you can cut it to the appropriate
length, and then burn the end with a lighter.
- Designed for use with the Garmin Astro DC-20 Transmitter
- For smaller dogs, this antenna may be too long. We recommend considering
the shorter length Performance Harness Antenna. It can be mounted
to the dog's collar in a similar fashion as the Performance Collar
Antenna.
