If you've never owned a pet door before, you're going to be very satisfied. It does what you think it should. But if you have ever owned a pet door hold on to your socks. Hot Tip: People almost always visually over-estimate the width of the flap needed by their dog. To avoid this problem, call the dog through a doorway opened only enough for him to comfortably pass. Then measure the gap.
Then measure the height of the dog at the withers (top of the shoulder). Ensure that your pet is no taller than the maximum height value available for that model. If your pet is taller than the maximum or if you need a shorter rise (for another, smaller pet for example) go up to a larger size.
We strongly recommend that you not exceed the maximum height values for your pet.
Warranty
Patio Pacific warrants this product and all of its component parts to be free of defects in materials or workmanship for a period of two years from the date of purchase. Endura flaps are warranted for 15 years. Damage caused by accident, improper installation, abuse or normal wear, including damage by pets or glass breakage, is specifically excluded from this warranty. Defective material returned to Patio Pacific, Inc, together with proof of purchase, will be repaired or replaced free of charge. Pet doors of other manufacturers installed in Patio Pacific products are covered by the warranty of the manufacturer.
