Dogtra Training Collars

Dogtra training collars are classified as either Low/Med power (for dogs at least 15 pounds) or Low/High power for dogs at least 20 pounds.

What follows is some general information on various Dogtra shock collar models for remote training. For detailed information on Dogtra shock collars please see our product description pages.

Dogtra 300M (for one dog) & Dogtra 302M (for two dogs)
The 300M series of Dogtra training collars replaces the Dogtra 200 NCP Gold Series which as been discontinued and is no longer available. The Element 300M models have all the features of the 200 NCP Gold series models, plus the transmitter is also 100% waterproof, as are the collar receivers.

The Dogtra Element 300M and 302M are specifically designed with features to accommodate both pet training and field training needs such as a 1/2 mile range and a vibrating pager button to summon your dog or get his attention without delivering a static shock correction.

Like most Dogtra training collars, these models come equipped with rechargeable NiMH batteries, a battery charger and a splitter so you can charge your transmitter and your dog's collar at the same time.

Dogtra 7100H (for one dog) & Dogtra 7102H (for two dogs)
These Dogtra training collars have a 1/2 mile range, 0-127 levels of precise stimulation, and were designed with waterfowl, flushing, pointers and service or K9 dogs in mind. The collar receiver and transmitter are 100% waterproof and both come equipped with rechargeable NiMH batteries.

Dogtra iQ (for one dog)
The Dogtra iQ has the shortest range (400 yards) of all Dogtra training collars and is popular for obedience training. The Dogtra iQ has an output of Low/Med power and is intended for dogs that weigh at least 15 pounds. It has precise adjustment for stimulation levels 0-100, as well as a no-shock pager button (vibration).

Dogtra 282NCP (for two dogs)
The Dogtra 282 NCP is a two-dog trainer designed for training hounds/beagles, pointers, flushing dogs, waterfowl dogs, K/9s and other service dogs, and companion dogs.

These Dogtra training collars have a 1/2 mile range and both the collar receiver and transmitter are waterproof and rechargeable. The Dogtra NCP 282 gives you the ability to precisely control 0-127 stimulation levels. Stimulation can be delivered as a "nick" or constant stimulation for difficult situations. There is also a non-stimulating pager/vibration button.

Dogtra e-Collars are excellent products, but there may be one drawback with Dogtra training collars for certain people: you cannot add additional dogs to your system. If you purchase a one-dog system, it cannot expand to a two-dog system. Instead, you need to purchase a system with two Dogtra collars from the start.

This of course is not an issue if you never intend to add dogs to your system, but if you think you might, a Dogtra collar may not be for you.
