• Have a problem with feral cats, skunks, raccoons or other animals gaining access to their home through a non-secure cat door. An electronic cat door would solve this problem.



• Have a big dog or dogs that need to use the same pet door as their cat. Big dogs need big doors; obviously, but a big door flap might be too heavy for some cats to push through. • Have small children in the household that could easily crawl outside through a non-secure cat door or dog door. Keep in mind that some magnetic cat doors will not prevent exit from your home. • Have some pets that are not allowed outside. It's important to note that while an electronic cat door or dog door can deter unauthorized pets from getting out, there is no guarantee. Our guess is Patio Pacific's Endura flap does not come is sizes small enough for this door. The PetSafe SmartDoor will not allow animals to enter or exit the door unless they are wearing a collar key.
