Extra large patio pet door panels are for pets ranging in shoulder widths from 10 inches to 15 inches. Some manufacturers go beyond extra large to sizes such as super large and giant for the largest of breeds. Most importantly check your patio doors to ensure that once the extra large dog door for sliding glass doors is installed that there is enough clearance for people to come and go.
