11 x 15 heavy duty Gun Dog Door
The Gun Dog Heavy Duty Dog Door is commercial-quality and therefore built to last. These nearly indestructible and chewproof dog doors have a rigid plexiglas panel (instead of a flexible, soft-plastic flap) that swings on heavy-duty spring loaded hinges.
This type of pet door flap lasts many times longer than a flexible flap that is screwed into the pet door frame. (Screwed in flexible flaps tend to tear at the point of attachment.)
When your dog goes "out" the door, the inner clear plexiglass panel and the outer welded aluminum frame move. When your dog goes in the door, the welded aluminum outer frame stays stationary and only the inner clear plexiglass panel moves.
IMPORTANT CAUTION: Gun Dog Heavy Duty Dog Doors are commercial grade products often used in commercial kennels because they are very strong and can stand up to repeated rough treatment. However, they are not quiet pet doors and they are not air-tight pet doors. In addition, they are heavy. If you have a small dog we do not recommend gun dog doors, or any other heavy duty, commercial quality dog door.
