Ideal Fast Fit Sash Window pet door was EASY to install and attractive! Be careful as the spring loaded sash can squish your fingers! The only difficulty I had was the locking pin to prevent the window from being opened from the outside after installation of the door (the directions are not very clear). I drilled a hole into the window sash and installed the pin where it's not visable. Mine is installed in my apartment patio window, away from the direct elements & looks good. I ordered the XL size & most people don't notice it as it blends in with the grids of the window. My window is approx 10" above the floor and my 5 y/o Boxer is 23" to top of her shoulder & 9" wide and she is learning well!Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes
