The Innotek Smart Dog Fence SD-2100 system comes standard with 500 feet of dog fence wire - enough to create a containment area of approximately 1/2 acre. The system can be expanded to 25 acres with the purchase of additional dog fence wire.
The Innotek Smart Dog Fence SD-2100 system is an easy-to-install DIY dog fence that works with an underground wire connected to an indoor transmitter. When a dog approaches the wire a warning tone is delivered through the collar receiver. If the dog continues toward the boundary wire the collar receiver emits a brief static correction that discourages him from crossing the boundary. Over time most dogs learn to heed the warning tone and corrections become less frequent.
