Insulated Dog House Models

An insulated dog house is recommended for all but the mildest climates. If your dog spends extended periods of time outdoors an insulated dog house will maintain a comfortable temperature; a dog house without insulation or inadequate insulation will not. If you plan on upgrading to a heated dog house by installing a dog house heater, it makes sense to have an insulated dog house. Otherwise you will lose the heat generated by the dog house heater.
