PetSafe Stubborn Dog Collar Receiver PRF-275-19
The PetSafe Stubborn Dog Collar, also known as the PetSafe Super Receiver Collar, is for the occasional
hard-to-train or stubborn dog. This PetSafe collar receiver contains electronics to
detect the magnetic field carried by the containment boundary wire, translates
them, and delivers a static correction. The static correction is delivered
through two contact probes that touch the dog's neck.
The PetSafe Stubborn Dog Collar is compatible with any of the PetSafe In-Ground Radio Fence models. Because of its size, this receiver should be used for dogs that are over 20 pounds.

All other PetSafe collars use the RFA-67D PetSafe battery (which are included when you purchase those models of PetSafe collars).

Exclusive Safety Features with Stubborn Dog Fence Collars:
- To protect against false signals, only the system's transmitter can activate the PetSafe Stubborn Dog Collar receiver. This means that televisions, cordless phones, garage door openers, etc. can not activate your pet's collar as is possible with some other brands of receivers. PetSafe incorporates filters and coded signals to prevent unnecessary corrections. Don't trust your pet's safety to anything but a PetSafe Dog Fence System.
- Receiver Fail-Safe. If your pet gets trapped in the correction zone, the receiver will shut down after 20 seconds to prevent over correction.
Please note: Leaving this collar (or any other brand or model of electronic collar) on too tight and/or for long periods of time can cause Pressure Necrosis. This is a condition where the skin deteriorates over time. To prevent this, check and clean your pet's neck regularly. If a rash or sore forms, remove the collar receiver for a few days. When replacing the collar, make sure both the contact probes and your dog's neck are clean.
