The PetSafe Underground Dog Fence System is an invisible pet containment system that includes a compact Ultralight Receiver on an adjustable collar that weighs just 1.5 ounces. Features include built-in lightning protection and a low battery indicator to ensure that you can enjoy peace of mind knowing that your pet will be safely contained.

PRF-3004w PetSafe In-Ground Fence - Features:

• UltraLight waterproof receiver with adjustable collar
• Transmitter with power adapter
• Four adjustable levels of static correction plus a tone-only mode for training
• Comes with 500 feet of boundary wire to cover approximately 1/3 acre. The system can be expanded to cover up to 10 acres with the purchase of additional dog fence wire.
• System comes with one receiver collar but can be expanded to work with multiple pets, including cats, with the purchase of additional PetSafe receiver collars. All of the following In-Ground Fence Receiver Collars are compatible with this system. Each collar is designed for pets of different sizes and temperaments:

How the PetSafe In-Ground Fence Works:

The PetSafe In Ground Radio Fence is safe and effective for all pets over 8 lbs. It works by producing a radio signal from the Fence Transmitter that is connected to up to 2800 feet of Boundary Wire. The Boundary Wire is buried or attached to a fixed object to enclose the Pet Area. Your dog wears a Receiver Collar with Contact Points that touch his neck, and, once trained, is allowed to roam freely in the Pet Area. When your pet reaches the Warning Zone, the Receiver Collar gives a warning beep. If your pet continues into the Static Correction Zone, a safe Static Correction will be delivered through the Contact Points to get his attention until he returns to the Pet Area.
