Your pet will quickly learn to avoid areas protected by the PetSafe Scat Mat. When he makes contact with the areas or object being protected by the Scat Mat, he'll receive a mild stimulation. After one or two encounters, he'll associate the stimulations with the location and learn to avoid it. It's that simple.
There is never any danger of injury to your pets. Scat Mat adjusts to 3 levels of correction, all in the range of familiar static shocks which are similar to those you get when you walk across a rug with stocking feet. Annoying but harmless.
- Low = for kittens
