This Indoor Instant Pet Barrier comes standard with One Zone and is designed by professionals to instantly keep your dog away from problem areas in your home. Unlike other deterrents, this system is battery-powered and so is completely wireless.
You can put a "Zone" near anything you want your dog to avoid such as the trash, kitchen counters, or your furniture. The system comes with one Zone; additional zones can be purchased separately. Each Zone protects an area from 2 feet to 12 feet.
Important: As with all dog training collars, you should never leave the PetSafe Pawz Away Receiver Collar on your pet for more than 12 consecutive hours. Please read your product manual before use.

When the dog comes within the set "zone" the collar will admit a warning beep. If the dog comes closer, the collar will admit a small, safe electric shock. If the dog continues to get closer to the set zone the level of stimulation will increase until the dog realizes the area is out-of-bounds.
