What makes Endura flap dog doors unique? Unlike all the standard rigid vinyl flaps on the market, the Endura flap is soft and flexible. Dog door flaps that are made of rigid vinyl shrink in cold weather and expand in hot weather. This results in a shrinking dog door flap in winter that lets the cold air into the house, and an expanding dog door flap in summer that results in a flap that doesn’t swing freely (it gets stuck on the dog door frame).
Endura flap dog doors are flexible and have a patented “bellows” design around the flap edges, which allows for magnets to run on both sides of the flap, maintaining strong contact with the frame when not in use. This design results in the Endura flap having a good solid seal with the dog door frame in all seasons and all types of weather.
